Swiss artist Ueli Alder's (1979-) "Detonations" series combines photographs of "real" spaces with virtual elements, specifically, explosions found in war themed videogames. These photoshopped collages are created by mixing various images collected on the internet. The idyllic natural landscapes are juxtaposed with the sheer destruction of the digital environments.
