Event: Hipersonica (Rio de Janeiro, Dec 02 - 18 2009)
FILE - Electronic Language International Festival presents FILE 8 BIT GAME PEOPLE, an event related to FILE GAMES RIO 09, that will be held at Centro Cultural Oi Futuro, from December 02nd to 18th, 2009, from Tuesdays to Sundays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m and FILE Hypersonica RIO 09, that will present at MAM Rio – Museu de Arte Moderna in November 23rd from 7 p.m. musicians who work with game interfaces in electronic music production.
Hypersonica is an event focused on musical, sonic, visual and performatic manifestations in electronic art. Artists invited to musical performances of FILE 8 BIT GAME PEOPLE use old videogame consoles such as Nintendo and Game Boys to produce a sound that remits to homely synthesizers and to videogame songs from the low-bit generation, explored in a contemporary way, that is, in real time.
