GameScenes recommends:
Norman Chan (Tested) wrote an in-depth profile (cum interview) of Jeremy Williams, creator of the Game Frame, a pixel art construction kit/display tool.
On January 20, 2014, Philippa Warr (WIRED UK) wrote about The Museum of Simulation Technology, a video game dealing with forced perspective developed by Pillow Castle Games, a team of students from Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center. As they explain on their website, "The Museum of Simulation Technology is our playground... [W]e're using to wrangle our brains around using your perception as a weapon. Think of it as a "proof of concept". Very promising.
Last January, Simon Parkin (The New Yorker) wrote about Kurt J. Mac's journey to the end of Minecraft. Truly epic.
