Game Art: Raúl Berrueco & Andres Carlsson's "Kung Fu Glitch" (2007)
A blast from the past!
"Kung-Fu Glitch is a modification of Kung Fu Master (1984), an arcade game developed by Irem Corporation in Japan, later ported to the Commodore 64. With the Retro Replay cartridge for C64 the artists gain full access to the RAM of the C64 to manipulate the game's graphics and functionality. The blue screen that appears at some points is the interface of the cartridge and the lists of letters and numbers is the data in the RAM. By simply changing this data, you modify the game. This technique was also used for the music, which was composed on C64 with JCH Editor 3.04 (1991), produced by Jens Christian Huus." (Raúl Berrueco)LINK
