Game Art: Projet EVA's "This is no game" (2008)

"This is no game is a performance project where the public is invited to take control over the actions of two performers through a video game metaphor and gamepads. The game takes place in the surroundings of the public, whether inside or outside of the gallery space. Video cameras are set on each of the performers and their image is processed and sent to the public, which is immersed in a visual and audio environment typical of sandbox game environments. An operations director supervises and follows the public’s queries and the actions of the performers who are literally blind and completely submitted to the players in control of the two gamepads."
