Game Art: Michael Birken's "Tetris Printer Algorithm" (2013)

Michael Birken's Tetris Printer Algorithm uses Tetris as canvas, painter and paint. The software

 rotates, positions and drops tetrominoes (i.e. Tetris pieces) in a specific sequence to create bitmap images, mostly from the videogame vernacular. Birken is the author of seminal pieces like Worst Mario Game Ever (2010), Escape the Men's Room (2011) and ASCII Pitfall (2008).LINK:
