Game Art: Jon Rafman & Daniel Lopatin's "Sticky Drama" (2015)
Jon Rafman (b.1981) is an artist living and working in Montreal. In 2015 solo exhibitions included Musee D'Art Contemporain de Montreal and Zabludowicz Collection, and previously at Contemporary Art Museum, S. Louis, Palais de Tokyo, Paris and Saatchi Gallery, London. His works have featured in group exhibitions including the 2015 Biennale de Lyon, Moscow Biennial as well as recent exhibitions examining the interface of digital culture and subjectivity including Digital Conditions, Kunstverein Hanover, The Future of Memory, Kunsthalle Wein and Private Settings: Art After The Interenet, MOMA Warsaw.
Daniel Lopatain (b.1982) known as Oneohtrix Point Never is a musician, composer, producer and founder of Software Recording Company, living and working in Brooklyn, New York. He has released numerous EPs and full length albums and has an upcoming album, Garden of Delete, due out in November on Warp Records. He has been commissioned by institutions such as Tate Britain, London and MoMA PS1, New York, Hirshhorn Museum, Washington. His film scores include Ariel Kleiman and Sofia Coppola and his production credits include Anthony and The Johnsons and Nine Inch Nails among others.
