Game Art: Jean-Marie Babonneau + Frédéric Dilé's "Le Petit Tour" (2013)
An interactive video installation that allows the user to simultaneous ride a bike in two cities, Paris and Copenhagen. In short, real and virtual are juxtaposed in a gallery space. Le Petit Tour debuted at the French Art Day festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the Øksnehallen hall on the 19th and 20th of January 2013. Fitness gaming meets virtual ride attractions. Feels like 1899.
