"The SPIELSALON is the festival of author games. It reflects the artistic development of computer games with a theoretical as well as a hands-on approach.

New German and international computer games can be played in the exhibition. There will also be lectures, presentations and panel discussions. It’s all about playing games and talking about them. The festival gives the opportunity to students, artists, professional games developers and the audience for productive exchange.

The Spielsalon is an event of the School of Arts and the University of Kassel. It’s supported by the Hessen Film and Media Academy (Spielsalon Team)"
