Doc: "Art in Video Games, Los Angeles" (2014)
Art in Video Games, Los Angeles is a 13-part documentary about the convergence between age and videogames produced by Kurt Mattila and Alexander Dervin for MOCA TV, MOCAtv is a contemporary art video channel, developed as a digital extension of the education and exhibition programming of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Specifically:
"The series includes interviews with L.A. games veterans like Tracy Fullerton, Richard Lemarchand, Sam Roberts and Stephanie Barish, and profiles several from the new school of game artists, including Kellee Santiago and Jenova Chen (Journey), Ian Dallas (The Unfinished Swan) and Mark Essen (Nidhogg).LINK
In conjunction with the series, Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy (2004), designed an animated gif of the MOCAtv logo, inspired by his most recent project, which is being developed at San Francisco-based Funomena." (MOCA TV)
