Art Game: Sara Lisa Vogl's Lucid Trips (2015)
Hamburg-based game designer Sara Lisa Vogl is currently developing Lucid Trips, a Virtual Reality Art Game for Oculus Touch, HTC Vive & Lighthouse and Sony Project Morpheus and uses hand-motion-controllers. To move around, players just push themselves of the ground with their hands.. This video illustrates the first world, Whateverland,
A place where art is made visible in a complete new way. The player can explore the work of selected artists from exciting new perpectives and interact with them in various ways. Artworks from different disciplines are digitised via 3D scan and integrated into the game world. Every piece of art offers unique interactions based on the artists’ intentions and concepts. Users have the opportunity to purchase the artworks as 3D prints. Through this added value people are able to get a copy of the artworks not only in virtual space but they can take it back to their common reality and hold it in their hands. The first planet features established german artists, f.e. Neo Rauch (Leipzig?) and Daim (Berlin?).LINK
