In 1978, experimental director Craig Baldwin (b. 1952 in Oakland, California) made a 16mm film deconstructing the ideology of cowboy masculinity, cultural imperialism, and capitalism. Finally available on YouTube, his 20-minute video collage includes images and sounds culled from various sources, including commercial, TV series and news, films, cartoons, and
