Interface as Art: Paintshop Studio's "Peckham-on-Sea" (2011)

"PlayStation's 'The Studio' have invited the South London graffiti design company to join the ranks of other leading illustrators, designers and artists from across the globe to create a bespoke animated home screen to go onsale to the public. 'Peckham-on-Sea' is Paintshop's slightly twisted, light-hearted and oddly relaxing look at global warming. Their design was originally created with spraypaint, then photographed and animated to bring the characters to life and create a truly unique piece of digital art."
