Spanish artist and professional voyeur Roc Herms (b. 1978) is a ludic post-photographer. His ongoing project Postcards from Home is a photographic essay based on his ethnographic explorations within the virtual world of Playstation Home, which Sony as recently as yesterday, March 31 2015, has all but eclipsed. Herm's project thus acquires a preservationist value, especially when the complete book will be published. So far, Herms has released a "dummy book" for the exhibition From here on, postphotography in the era of internet (Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica, Barcelona, February 22 - April 12 2013) curated by Joan Fontcuberta which included works by Martin Parr, Clément Chéroux, Erik Kessels and Joachim Schmid. Below is a 15 minute mashup of Playstation Home videos, curated & remixed by Roc Herms:

Herms has also published some of the photographs that he captured

on his website: Postcards

In 2012, Postcards From Home has been ex

hibited at Platine Festival (Köln, Germany).

Herms lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
