Game Art: Jordan Wayne Long's "Box Shipment #2" (2011)
We wrote about Jordan Wayne Long's performance here and on WIRED magazine. The artist was shipped in a cargo container on July 1 2011 and shipped across the country. Long was finally released from his cage on July 7 2011 at 7 pm @ fourteen 30contemporary, an an art gallery in Portland, Oregon. The journey began in Bald Knob, Arizona. During his performance, Long was communicating with the world through the massively multiplayer online game Lord of The Rings Online.
