Art Game: Natalie Bookchin & jonCates' "The Intruder" (1999)

"This video (made by jonCates) documents the Art Game entitled The Intruder by Natalie Bookchin (1998 - 1999). Bookchin developed The Intruder using the authoring platforms Macromedia Director on the Mac OS. The Intruder was distributed distributed online as a playable Art Game running in the browser via the Shockwave plugin. As this software plugin architecture for this almost entirely abandoned authoring format (Director) is no longer playable, jonCates has documented this project for the fields of Media Art Histories research and Art Games Studies."
