Mighty Box Games - a game collective based in Malta consisting of  Gordon Calleja (Game Designer, Creative Director, Writer), Marvin Zammit (Programmer), Costantino Oliva (Project Manager), Thomas Cuschieri (Sound Designer, Composer), Fabrizio Calì (Animator, Technical Artist, 3D Modeler, Texture Artist, Illustrator), Nel Pace (Artist, Illustrator, Texture Artist, Cinematic Artist), Mark Casha (Interface Artist, UI, Web Design), Anthony Catania (Concept Artist, Texture artist, Character Designer, Illustrator), and Steffi De Giorgio (Original Concept Artist) have just completed Love Will Tear Us Apart, a free-to-play browser-game about relationships on the brink of breaking up. Developed with Unity and inspired by Joy Division's seminal song, the game is as an interactive meditation on the nature of love. As Gordon Calleja explains, "Each verse in the song is represented by a level in the game. WLTUA encourages players to reflect on the darker side of love: mis-communication, emotional impasse and the sadness of separation. Solace may be found in the brief moment of lightness that comes over us when we come to terms with the reality of an irreconcilable relationship."LINK: Mighty Box Games
