From artificial intelligence (AI) to cryptocurrencies and 3D environments, computational power is often portrayed by internet actors and private corporations as elusive and disconnected from its human and material infrastructure. Critically examining this sociotechnical belief, this public study day aims to foster collaboration among several Swiss and French artists and researchers to collectively demystify and shed light on the environmental and human practices surrounding our digital cultures.
