Virtual Landscapes is an exhibition on game-inspired contemporary art curated by Thierry Tilquin in the OFF circuit of Art Brussels 2022. It will take place at [Senne], an independent, non-commercial space that intends to present, once or twice a year projects of design and art characterized by their innovative aspects.
Landscapes have always been an important theme in art history. The digital world offers new horizons, based on limitless possibilities and the quest for a new reality. The works in the exhibition illustrate various forms of investigations into these virtual landscapes.
The exhibition features the work of Cory Arcangel, Adonis Archontides, Myfanwy Ashmore, Michael Bell-Smith, Petra Cortright, Pascal Greco, JODI, Brenna Murphy, Robert William Overweg, Luke Kaspar Pearson, Petra Szemán.
