Leonardo Sang is a Brazilian graphic designer, photographer, and visual artist with a passion for gaming. Consider In The Backseat, a series of images taken "from the backseat" of car, "even if some of the cars doesn't even have backseats...". Manipulated to look as black and white "photographs", some images reference the "road trip" genre, while others are imbued with a sense of (simulated) nostalgia. The series includes images appropriated from Project C.A.R.S. and WCR 3. I discuss Sang's project - and many more - in my upcoming book on racing games, Orizzonti di Forza.
