PLAYING THE GAME will take place in Milan on October 27-28 2012 as part of IF - Imagine the Future, an initiative sponsored by the Province of Milan Chamber of Commerce.
The event focuses on PLAY and features three main areas:
- Indie Games. Section dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of the culture of independent game. Takes the form of an international selection of indie games.
- Game Art. tour of the exhibition organized in a series of works the work of emerging talents from different nationalities. A multimedia exhibition focuses on the work of young artists, whose works are deliberately contaminated with suggestions gaming, or in which you are having issues its own language and imagery entertainment.
Featuring works by Matteo Bittanti, Duncan Harris, Shinji Murakami, Kenton Sheely,
TonyLight and Vj VISUALOOP.
The purpose of this exhibition is to focus on the influence of the new medium in the field of contemporary culture and specifically highlight the emergence of a transnational artistic creativity.
