VIGAMUS, the Video Game Museum of Rome, is set to make its official debut on October 20th, 2012. Supported by the civic authority of Roma Capitale and located downtown Rome, VIGAMUS is Italy’s first museum entirely dedicated to video games. With an emphasis on videogame history and culture, VIGAMUS will offer a permanent exhibition and a series of collateral events, including seminars, presentations, workshops and more. Created in collaboration with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, VIGAMUS joins Berlin's Computerspiele in promoting the artistic, tecnological, and cultural relevance of videogames. More to come, so stay tuned.
