Born in Madrid in 1964, Spanish artist Daniel Canogar received an M.A. from NYU and the International Center for Photography in 1990. His work as a visual artist focuses on photograpy, video, and installation art. This video, shared by Bitforms Gallery in New York, is part of the Small Data series. The above installation consists of discarded Game Boy pieces, wood and a projector. As Canogar writes on his website, "Small Data explores the life and death of consumer electronics, and how when we discard our devices, we are throwing out a small part of ourselves."
