Austin-based artist Lauren Klotman (b. 1987) describes GODOT64 as a "A play in two acts spread out across 3 games" which "takes the text of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot and transposes it across the platform of a videogame. Consisting of 3 hacked super mario 64 ROM files, the project is an exercise in absurdist poetics, non-linear text, and performative reading..." Compelling and original.
